We supply tote bags to companies in every UAE emirate and across Qatar. The way each sector uses them differs, so the right specification depends on who receives the gift and where they will use it.
Jute or canvas totes printed with a national or campaign message work for public awareness drives and official events.
Canvas totes are used for conference delegate kits at energy exhibitions and for staff recognition gifts.
A heavy canvas tote with a small embroidered logo suits client events and staff kits where the look must stay understated.
Non-woven and cotton totes are the standard exhibition bag, handed out by the thousand to carry brochures and samples.
Schools and universities order drawstring bags and totes for orientation kits, libraries, book fairs and sports days.
Hotels and resorts use cotton totes for spa, beach and guest welcome amenities, replacing plastic bags.
The UAE banned single-use plastic shopping bags nationwide from 1 January 2024, after Abu Dhabi (June 2022) and Dubai moved first, and Qatar banned them from November 2022. Shoppers now carry their own bags, so a good branded tote gets used at the supermarket, the mall and the gym every week instead of being thrown away.
That repeat use is the whole point. A tote is a moving billboard: the more durable and better looking it is, the more often your logo is carried through public places.
Cotton is the all-rounder: soft, printable and light enough to fold into a handbag. Canvas is cotton woven heavier, so it holds its shape and survives years of use, which suits premium gifting. Jute has a natural, textured look that fits sustainability campaigns and Ramadan or Eid gift packing. Non-woven polypropylene is the lowest cost per piece and is the standard bag at exhibitions where thousands are handed out.
Screen printing is the most economical method for a simple one to four colour logo on 100 pieces or more. It pushes ink through a mesh stencil, one screen per colour, and gives a durable, colour-accurate print. It takes 7 to 12 working days after artwork approval.
DTF transfer is better for full-colour artwork, photographs or small runs. It starts from just 10 pieces, prints any number of colours at no extra cost, and takes 3 to 7 working days. Embroidery suits heavy canvas totes where a stitched logo looks more premium, from 50 pieces.
The totes that get reused have a design people are happy to be seen carrying. Keep the logo smaller and confident rather than covering the whole bag, use a strong single colour on a natural or dark bag, and consider a short line in Arabic or English that relates to the city or the occasion. Print on both sides only if the back carries a different, useful message.

Non-woven bags are the usual choice for handing out thousands of bags because they cost least per piece and still carry brochures. Cotton totes cost more but get reused for far longer after the show.
Canvas is cotton woven much heavier. It holds its shape and lasts for years, so it suits premium gifts. Standard cotton is lighter, softer and cheaper, so it suits giveaways.
