Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with every order. Here's exactly how returns and refunds work β€” including what applies to customized corporate gifts.

Quick summary

  • Defective or incorrect items: full refund or replacement, within 14 days of delivery.
  • Stock items (no customization): returnable within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging.
  • Customized items (with your logo, engraving, or print): non-returnable unless the defect is our fault.
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

How to request a return

  1. Sign in and go to My Account β†’ Returns.
  2. Select the delivered order + item you want to return.
  3. Choose the reason and upload photos showing the issue (photos help us resolve faster; required for defective/damaged claims).
  4. Submit. You'll receive a confirmation email with a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
  5. Our team reviews within 2 business days and arranges collection (where applicable) or shares return-shipping instructions.

Eligibility

An item is eligible for return if:

  • You request the return within the applicable window (14 days for defective, 7 days for stock items), measured from the date the courier marks the order as delivered.
  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories, tags, and documentation.
  • The item was purchased directly from Gifts Gulf (not through a reseller).

Non-returnable items

  • Customized products (printed, embroidered, engraved, or otherwise personalized with your artwork or branding) β€” unless the item arrived defective, damaged, or different from the approved proof.
  • Perishable goods (food, hampers with fresh items).
  • Downloadable digital products or gift vouchers.
  • Items damaged after delivery due to misuse, mishandling, or normal wear.

Defective or wrong item

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Upload photos clearly showing the defect or discrepancy when you submit the return.
  • We'll arrange free return shipping (or waive the need to return in some cases) and send you a full refund or replacement at your choice.

Refund processing

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item (or approve the claim without physical return), we issue the refund within 2 business days.
  • Card/UPI/netbanking refunds via Razorpay typically reach your account in 5–10 business days.
  • Bank transfer refunds take 3–7 business days depending on your bank.
  • We issue a formal credit note (numbered CN-YYYY-XXXX) for every refund β€” available in your account for download, and linked to the original invoice for your tax records.

Partial refunds

If only part of an order is being returned (e.g. 100 of 500 mugs arrived cracked), we issue a proportional refund covering the affected units plus any attributable shipping and tax.

Return shipping costs

  • If the return is due to our error (defective, wrong item, wrong quantity): we cover return shipping.
  • If the return is a change of mind on a stock item: return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Exchanges

For in-stock exchanges (different size, colour, or model), we process it as a return + new order. This keeps pricing and stock accurate. Contact us at support@giftsgulf.comand we'll coordinate.

Quality disputes on customized orders

We send a digital proof for every customized order and produce only after your written approval. If the delivered item differs from the approved proof beyond reasonable production tolerance (Β±10% colour variance, minor positioning drift), it qualifies as a defect and is fully refundable or replaceable.
