Artwork is converted to clean vector paths — engraving cannot reproduce gradients or halftones.

Laser Engraving: common questions
What colour does laser engraving produce?
Engraving has no colour of its own — it exposes the material underneath. Stainless steel marks a light grey or frosted white, anodised aluminium reveals the silver beneath the coating, wood and leather burn a dark brown. If you need your exact brand colour on metal, UV printing is the method to ask for.
Is laser engraving permanent?
Yes. The mark is cut into the material rather than applied to it, so it cannot peel, crack or wash off. It is the most durable branding method we offer, which is why it is standard on awards and executive gifts.
Can you engrave individual names for an award or long-service gift?
Yes — variable data engraving lets every piece carry a different name, date or department at no extra setup per item. Supply the list as a spreadsheet and it is matched to each unit.
