"Sticker printing" covers everything from a small product label to a full vehicle wrap, and the material, adhesive, and finish that suit one badly suit the others. Getting the spec right the first time avoids the two most common sticker complaints: peeling indoors-rated vinyl outdoors, and paying for a durability level a one-off event sticker never needed.

Materials and where each one belongs

Vinyl is the default for anything outdoor-facing β€” window graphics, floor decals, vehicle branding β€” because it's UV- and weather-resistant in a way paper stock isn't. Paper-based stickers are cheaper and fine for indoor, short-lived use (event badges, promotional labels) where outdoor durability is irrelevant. Clear/frosted vinyl is a distinct sub-category for glass applications β€” reception doors, shopfront windows β€” where the look matters as much as the durability.

Kiss-cut, die-cut, or a full sheet

Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the vinyl layer only, leaving them on a backing sheet for easy peel-and-apply β€” the standard for individual stickers handed out one at a time. Die-cut goes all the way through, producing standalone shapes with no backing sheet, used for single large-format pieces like a floor graphic or a vehicle decal. A full uncut sheet is the cheapest option when the shape doesn't matter β€” a poster-style graphic applied as one piece.

What decides the price

Size, material, and finish (matte, gloss, or laminated for extra durability) matter more than colour count on large-format work β€” full-colour digital printing carries no per-colour surcharge the way screen printing does. Custom die-cut shapes cost more in setup than a standard rectangle or circle because of the cutting-path work, which is worth knowing before requesting an unusual outline purely for aesthetics.

Minimum order and turnaround

There's no fixed minimum β€” single banners and one-off vehicle decals are as routine as bulk sticker sheets running into the thousands, with per-unit pricing improving at higher quantities. Standard turnaround is 3–5 working days once artwork is approved; rush production is available for time-sensitive jobs.

Artwork requirements

Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) at true print size are ideal, especially for die-cut shapes where the cut path is generated from the outline. High-resolution flattened PDFs work for full-colour photographic designs. Any resolution issue that would print blurry gets flagged before production, not discovered after the job ships.
